The Little Mermaid It is 1989, and Walt Disney releases a movie in which a teenage mermaid, Ariel, sells her voice to an evil octopus, Ursula.

“My voice?” Ariel asks and holds her hands over her throat. “You got it sweet cakes,” Ursula clarifies, “no more talking, singing, zip!” “But without my voice, how can I..?” How can she what? Sing? Speak? Scream? Nobody knows. “You’ll have your looks, your pretty face, and don’t underestimate the importance of BODY LANGUAGE, Ha!”
