In the wetlands of the northwest bank of Kummerower Sea, there is a shelter-like construction that functions as an automated recording station. It is more than 1 km away from the nearest dirt road; the only way to reach it is to wade through the wet soil and grass.
The exact location is secret, but it is promoted by the German government as a nature restoration project of a river that was damaged by a pumping station. It records almost all the time.
