The Animals Were Never Alone a Choose Your Own Adventure Essay

It is midnight and you are standing on Invalidenstraße 43, just outside the Humboldt University. It is leaking. The recordings are squeezing their way through the bricks and tightly sealed windows. A faint earthquake makes your feet vibrate - or is it an underground subwoofer?
Some of them go for a quick smoke, hiding in the sound of traffic. A few, brave ones stay out all night in clubs and raves, mixing with the massive dark beats of Berlin's underground nightlife; a grungy, old-school recording of a Black Tern, distorted voices of spawning Cods 50 meters under the surface of a Norwegian Fjord, goats that sound strangely human, domestic cows, alligators, tigers, and lions whose voices bounce off from walls of concrete. In the background: noise from construction!!! VERY GOOD RECORDING QUALITY!!!
