Are you familiar with the basic principle of a heat exchanger? We put them into metal cases known as radiators and use them to heat up our homes. Warm fluids flow through metal tubes, surrounded with cold fluids. It heats up the cold fluids and in turn, the warm fluids get cooled down. Inside a heat exchanger, it is hard to know what is on the outside and inside. There is an illusion of mixing, but the fluids never come into direct contact. You are the hot cluid and we are the cold fluid.
